Ah, Daylight Saving Time! The biannual event that has us all questioning our life choices as we groggily fumble with our clocks. Earlier this week, while clutching my coffee cup (yes, still), I conducted a highly scientific (okay, casual) poll among my Facebook friends and newsletter subscribers to find out just how long it takes folks to recover from losing that precious hour of sleep. The results? Let’s just say they were as varied as our morning coffee orders.
- One-Day Wonders (23%): Adjust within 24 hours. These overachievers somehow function without caffeine. We're thrilled for you. Really.
- Three-Day Thrivers (35%): Feel “off” for a couple of days, bouncing back by midweek—think mild weekend hangover, noticeable but manageable.
- One-Week Warriors (29%): A full week to feel normal again. For this group, the struggle is real, and extra evening sunlight doesn’t quite compensate for foggy mornings.
- Eternal Jet-Laggers (13%): Special shout-out to those who never adjust. You're not quite sure what day it is, and honestly, neither are we.
